Philosophy

The name Onomato is derived from onomatopoeia – the linguistic principle whereby words combine sound and meaning. In my work, I take up this idea: forms, materials and spaces should not need to be explained, but should be perceived as self-evident.

→ I engage intensively with existing structures – with respect for what is already there and an awareness of materials and details. Whether intervening in historic buildings or working on new projects, my aim is to design with care and consideration.

FOR ME, ARCHITECTURE ALWAYS MOVES BETWEEN LIGHT AND SHADOW, BETWEEN THINKING AND FEELING.
